How do we
Advocate
for you?
Ombudsmen advocate for
a better quality of care and life
for Long-Term care consumers.
Advocacy
As consumer rights advocates, we act to ensure that consumers
receive the services they need and deserve. We also work closely
with long-term care providers and many community organizations to inform and educate legislators and the public to encourage the
delivery of high quality care that meets consumers’ needs and wishes.
LTCO has also worked with the NCNA to provide training to STNAs
and educated them about Person-Centered Care through a
Workshop Series.
